Why go
Oeschinensee sits in a dramatic basin above Kandersteg and forms part of the Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO landscape. A gondola shortens the climb, followed by an easy approach to the lake; longer panoramic trails rise above the shore. Conditions, trail openings and lake access change with weather and season.
