Why go
Creux du Van forms a natural rock arena roughly 150 metres high in the Jura. The rim opens toward broad views across the Swiss Plateau and Alps. Routes range from a direct approach near the upper plateau to a demanding circular hike from Noiraigue through forest and the Areuse valley.
One of Switzerland's strongest geological landscapes, without alpine crowds.
